[ARCHIVED] Finance Director

The City of Rittman (approx. population 6,500) in northeast Wayne and southern Medina Counties is seeking qualified applicants for the position of Finance Director. Currently, salary range is $60,000 to $72,722. The position reports directly to the 6 member Rittman City Council, and requires working directly with the City Manager on a daily basis in budgeting, accounting, and municipal financing.

This position requires an undergraduate degree in accounting, finance, business or a related field. Municipal government experience and knowledge of GAAP, GASB, and CAFR preparation is also required. CPA license, strong background in budgeting, investing, city income tax and treasury issuance is preferred. PC proficiency and knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel are a plus. Excellent benefits package with Ohio PERS are provided.
