An industrial park was established through the use of local, state, and federal funding which when combined with other available real estate offers over 100 acres of land for new industrial or commercial construction. The area is served by a number of power related utilities who can competitively provide quality service.


The retail community offers a reliable base of competitive, well-established merchants, but good opportunities for targeted consumer goods and service providers still exist. Two locations, a downtown commercial district and a north end shopping center, provide the majority of retail
space in the area.

Rittman City Government works closely with new and expanding business to help facilitate their growth. TAX ABATEMENT is a viable incentive for those who seek to improve real property within designated community zones. The national Jobs Partnership Training Act Programs are administered by a three county consortium to provide:

2. pre-employment classroom training

3. tax credit advice and federal funding counseling
