Dear Local Business Managers and Proprietors,

Rittman's own Veteran's of Foreign Wars and American Legion Fraternities are sponsoring a project that will put an American Flag on every light, telephone, power, or other type of pole, on Main street from just south of the railroad tracks to Home Street by the car wash. As we make a joint effort to show Rittman's patriotism during these trying times, and support for our troops abroad, we are asking for assistance from the community to help complete this mission. We are asking for donations to help pay for this specific task. You may donate as members walking storefront to storefront passing this flyer out, or you may send your check to the V.F.W. address written above. Please make your checks payable to the post. If you wish you may ask for the tax ID number as we are a nonprofit organization. The V.F.W. and American Legion are proud to serve our community, however, from time to time, we need to ask assistance ourselves.

As a gesture of our gratitude, any business wishing to have their business mentioned in the bi-monthly newsletter distributed among the V.F.W. members may also submit a business card or any information regarding your business and it will be placed in the newsletter.
