Donating your Organizations’ Time to the City Parks

The City of Rittman appreciates individuals and organizations that have offered to "adopt" a park and assist with the maintenance ot that park. Churchs and other service organizations have donated time and materials to better our parks thoughout the years, and with the slow economy, we sincerely appreciate any help we can get in this area.

Fred Rastofer has donated his personal time to one of the ball fields at Martin Fritz Park for as long as we can remember. So this past year Rittman City Council erected a sign recognizing all the time and hard work that Fred has put in over the years. This ball field is now known as Rastofer field, affectionaly called "Freddie's Field" by the Service Department and other voluneers that work in the parks.

Thanks Fred for all your hard work!
