One of Rittman's very favorable
attributes is its proximity to the United States' commercial
and industrial base. An oft repeated statistic is that over
30% of the national business activity is conducted within
500 miles of our prime northeastern Ohio location. Quick access
to primary state highways running in each direction has lured
several national trucking firms to establish sizable terminals
in the immediate area.
Rittman is located on state route
57, approximately 5 miles south of I-76. Other interstates
within close proximity are I-77 and I-71. Both of which are
five miles away. For a detailed view of the surrounding interstates
please refer to the Map
of Rittman, OH.
Rail service is available to
Rittman from three major recognized sources. The Akron/Barberton
Belt Cluster provides the direct link to the national network.
Within 60 miles (one hour's drive), the Cleveland World Port
provides outstanding marine service through the Great Lakes
Network. In addition, both Cleveland
Hopkins International Airport and the Akron
- Canton Airport are easily accessible from Rittman (45
minute and 30 minute drives respectively). An added bonus
is the Wadsworth Municipal Airport, located less than five
minutes from downtown Rittman, can accommodate most private
aircraft.
