The City of Rittman Water Treatment Plant has prepared the following report to provide information on to you, the consumer, on the quality of our drinking water. Included within this report is general health information on water quality test results, how to participate in decisions concerning your drinking water, and water system contacts.

The EPA, through the Safe Drinking Water Act, mandates that all community and non-transient non-community water systems create and maintain a service line inventory. This inventory identifies the materials (e.g., lead, copper, galvanized steel) used in the water service lines that deliver water from the public water main to individual buildings. The initial inventory was due October 16, 2024, with ongoing notifications to customers about known or potential lead service lines. Please see below on how to locate and identify your type of line.
